Most standard Disney hotel rooms are designed for 4 to 5 guests. Larger villas are available, but they’re only located at deluxe resorts and can be budget busters. The good news is that there are affordable options for larger families; the most affordable are the family suites at All Star Music Resort.
Disney’s All Star Music Resort is a value resort that includes two pools, an arcade, playground, planned activities, and an expansive food court. The theme of the resort is, of course, music, and the buildings are named for different types. The main pool is shaped like a guitar, and the quiet pool is shaped like a piano.

Our suite was in the Jazz Inn section of the hotel, and we loved the location. We were a short walk to the food court and both pools, and the playground was right next to us.
Are you ready to see the room? The living room includes a sofa, chair, ottoman, table, and television. The sofa turns into a sleeper, and so do the chair and ottoman. I slept a few nights on the sofa bed, and it’s a LOT more comfortable than your standard one. It has more of a platform base instead of the traditional kind.
The room also has a kitchenette. Notice that there’s a LOT of storage for snacks, and that’s great for families. It also contains a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge that is larger than the standard ones found in regular rooms.
The separate bedrooms are a nice size and definitely give you more privacy than you have in a standard room.
Regretfully, I did not take any pictures of the bathrooms, but notice that word is plural. Yes, there are two full bathrooms, and both include tubs! This makes getting ready a breeze for large families, and even smaller families will enjoy that feature.
Like all Disney resorts, All Star Music has free wifi, park transportation, and parking for guests.
Family suites are a great options for those needing more space but still keeping an eye on the budget. If you’d like more information about this resort or any Disney resort, please email me at kelly@kingdomdestinations.com.
